My beach must haves

Living in Florida, we are pretty lucky in that we are so close to the beach and it's so easy to take a quick trip over. My mind is already 1/2 way there, so I thought I'd share with you a few of my favorite things I plan on taking to the beach... what are yours?

Pedicures make me so happy and I LOVE bright toe polish in the summer! And I really do half way pick the colors based on the names. Who ever came up with that deserves the biggest marketing award.

I love beach cover ups. Perfect for walking to the beach and for lounging in your chair reading and sipping margaritas...

I am hooked!

I used to be so in to being tan and now I'm the super paranoid person with the cover up.
Is that what happens after 30? ;)

Seriously... have you tried this? It is FABULOUS!

Sage & Gold Romantic Wedding Invitations

Hot off the press... these invitations were just mailed today! I am absolutely loving the color combination of the sage & metallic gold on the linen card stock. They just scream romance...




The bride added thermography printing of the design to the envelope and digital calligraphy. Both look stunning and I can't wait for her guests to find these awaiting them in their mail boxes.

Vintage bird menu and program paddle fan

Julie and Ron were married yesterday in Italy. These were the menus and programs I designed to coordinate with their vintage bird wedding invitation suite. I really love how they turned out:








And I got the sweetest email from Julie last week:

I just got home to Ohio to pack up for the wedding and saw the menus and programs. I love them!! You did such a great job. I really think it's the well thought out details that make a wedding special, so thank you so much. ;)

And of course she promised to send photos which I just can't wait to see and share with you all :)

Photographing for the new site

The new Blush Paperie site is alllllmost ready, so I am in full photography mode. I've decided to soften the look and photograph everything on gray silk dupioni fabric. I'm really happy with how it's going... what do you think?

Peacock Save the Dates

I recently worked with Lindsey & Josh to create the most fabulous peacock wedding invitations & save the dates. Their ceremony will have a vintage, Great Gatsby feel and they wanted to tie the peacock design into that. I wish that you could see these in person... the bright green & deep blue jump off the page.

These were thermography printed in a tri-fold design with the middle left empty for one of their engagement photos.



And a big thanks to the fabulous Sarah Sleeth of Your Fantasy Affair for introducing me to Lindsey. This was such a great project to work on and I was thrilled to be included :)
